Hello everybody! New on this forum and I might as well start ahead with my big issue.. I know this is a common problem but I am stuck!
It's a MK5 1.6 FSI 2005. The car starts and runs roughly on idle, seems a little bit better when speeding up at 2000rpm or more, but the car feels powerless and even when hitting 5000rpm not much happens. The CEL blinks and after a while it goes permanent yellow. All this started when the temperature was low, 0 fahrenheit/-17 celsius.
I get these errors:
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 -- 001 -- Upper Limit Exceeded
16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
P0304 -- 001 -- Upper Limit Exceeded
Done so far: 4 new sparks (bosch), 1 new coil, even tried to move the coils around to see if the error followed, but no luck.
Check wiring to coils, best method?
Switching injectors is a tricky part I guess, any DIY for this?
Some say MAF, but would this generate error on only 1 cyl?
Any ideas for my next step?
