Kenwood DPX-313Y installation problem

First of all thanks for reading! I installed this unit in car but I have two problems, I expected it would turn off when I turned off the ignition [ that doesn't happen]. I'm getting weird reception problems when listening to radio i.e. when listening to a radio station there frequently seems to be interference until i turn it on and off again, I'm in London, so, i'd expect Capital FM to work really well [ so it can't be reception it did with the standard radio].

There are two cables for the radio antennae, so i'm wondering what each of them mean/does? Does anyone know?
