1.8T into corrado g60, q's on wiring in the 1.8T engine harness

i want to swap an AWP into my g60, i've been able to read enough threads now to see that it takes about 10 or so wires to splice a mk4 harness into a corrado/mk2 fusebox pigtails

this is the best one i've found so far

i don't want to use the mk4 fuse box/cluster/key etc

i want to modify the mk4 harness to plug straight into the corrado ce2 fusebox

i will not be using any of the SAI, N249, PCV, EVAP as detailed in this thread BUT i'd like to just remove all the wiring and not just use resistors if possible...i will have the ECU flashed accordingly to take the deleted components into account

i won't be using ABS or cruise control either

i know i need to add the drive by wire pedal, no problem

my concern is the wiring and how to splice the two tegether

do i need to get a digi 1 harness or can i just use a mk2 digi harness for the fusebox pigtails

my main issue with using a regular mk2 harness is

1) VSS wiring, the g60 harness has this but a mk2 harness does not....how is the VSS signal picked up in the mk4 harness?

2) MFA wiring, included in the g60 harness (and i could source a mk2 harness from a gti with mfa so not a huge deal) but i'd like to clarify how this will work in the mk4 harness

i think that's the only two things i'd be worried about by not having my g60 harness which i sold with the motor

anyone that could offer some more insight would be much appreciated

thanks
