Putting my daily/winter car up for sale as I just can't afford to maintain an Audi at the moment.
1999.5 Audi a4 v6 quattro (facelift model)
Tiptronic Transmission
Silver exterior on Black Leather interior
The Good
Runs strong despite the mileage
Facelift model with all available options including sunroof
Heated Leather is in fantastic shape
Body has some some scratches but is 99% rust free
The underside is mint.
Gislaved Nordfrost Winter tires on 16" steelies with TONS of tread left (these tires kick ass!)
Lots of recent new parts including in the last 6 months:
- new temp switch
- new oem coilpack
- new oem MAF
- new plugs and wires
- factory cats replaced with magnaflow high flow cats
- new front rotors and pads
- newish billstein shocks all around (~1 year old)
A lot of other work done on this car in the last 6-7 years - not sure on all the dates but you can ask Rune, owner of Auto Allemage (rallyedude) as it was his wife's car before I bought it.
- transmission replaced with a newer one
- both heads replaced
- etc, etc.
The bad
High mileage ~350xxx kms
Random misfire issue that seems to have subsided since temp switch install
A little bit of vibration on the front left corner - could be anything from the caliper to the control arms. I've had the car on the hoist and everything seems tight, however.
I'm definitely forgetting some things. Pictures will be taken this weekend.
Looking for $3000 - this is a lot of car for the price.
